Ordering Your Repeat Prescription

There are several ways you can request your repeat prescription. Please choose the method that best suits your needs and preferences:

  • NHS App (or alternative online patient facing services provider) can be used to request repeat medication.
  • Emailpsmp@nhs.net  (You can send your repeat prescription request to the practice via email contact).
  • Online Consultation (eConsultations) – Repeat prescription requests can also be submitted through our online consultation service via the practice website. You can access the direct link here: https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/f83678/flows
  • Via your nominated pharmacy – Some pharmacies will request repeat prescriptions on your behalf, however, please check directly with your pharmacy to see whether they offer this service.
  • Post

If you are unsure which method is most suitable for you, or you need help requesting your medication, please contact the practice and a member of our team will be happy to assist.

Please allow 2 working days for your request to be processed from the day we receive it.

Please do not leave your medication until you run out. Remember that your medication is your responsibility.

Any uncollected repeat prescription will be destroyed after three months. For safety and confidentiality reasons we do not take requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone. Appointments / telephone consultations should not be made for repeat prescriptions.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, practice nurse or clinical pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Notification will be printed on your repeat slip - please make the relevant appointment to avoid delays to further prescriptions.
